I lead product and engineering. Eighteen years of deciding what to build, for whom, and why — at Microsoft, Disney, and now inside an AI research lab in the defense sector. I write here about that here.

About

I have spent my career on the part of software that happens before anyone writes code: figuring out what is worth building, who it is for, and what it has to do to matter. Lately that means AI — not the demos, but the question of where it actually changes the economics of a business.

I am also a technical founder. SmartSaveAI is a grocery savings app I built and took to the CU Boulder New Venture Challenge, and Build Beautiful is a small studio building software for small businesses.

I live outside Philadelphia with my wife and four kids, and I race the occasional half Ironman. The best way to reach me is email.
